Consumer Participation Working Group


The North and West Metropolitan Region LASN Consumer Participation Working Group (CPWG) was established to model good practice in relation to consumer feedback and participation processes for homelessness services, to develop mechanisms to channel consumer perspectives into LASN work, and to seek consumers’ views on the regional implementation of the Opening Doors Framework. 

The CPWG is a working party of the North and West Metropolitan Homelessness Local Area Service Networks, and is comprised two consumers and of representatives of the following services:

  • Council to Homeless Persons
  • Launch Housing
  • St Vincent de Paul Vincentcare
  • Wombat Housing and Support Services
  • Children's Resource Coordination Program
The CPWG meets about five times a year to plan the annual consumer survey, analyse the survey responses, host a consumer forum to make recommendations to the LASNs about possible responses to the survey and to feedback the outcomes of the survey to consumers.
