2013 March Regional Forum - Rooming Houses
The first regional forum for 2013 was on Rooming Houses. It was held on the 27th March at the State Hockey & Netball Centre in Parkville.
The forum was designed to address issues faced by the Homelessness Sector around Rooming Houses in light of the new minimum standards being introduced on 31st March 2013.

2012 Regional Forums
The NWHN run 4 Regional Forums each calendar year. The themes for forums are based on feedback recieved from various sources such as the annual NW Sector Survey, suggestions from the NW LASN and feedback recieved from the NW Specialist Homelessness Sector during consultations, network meetings, agency visits and at the Forums themselves.
October 2012 Regional Forum - Ending Homelessness is Everyone's Business!
The fourth and last Regional Forum for 2012 was held on the 24th of October at the Aborigines Advancement League in Thornbury.
This forum was delivered in partnership with the Lodjbra Network and the Victorian Indigenous Statewide Homelessness Network.
The forum was aimed at mainstream homelessness and family violence staff who would like to find out more about Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Homelessness and Family Violence Services in the NW and staff in Aboriginal controlled services who would like to network with colleagues from mainstream services

May 2012 Regional Forum - Children and Homelessness
The second Regional Forum for 2012 was on Children & Homelessness. The Forum was organised in partnership with our collegues, Halime & Luisa from the NW Children's Resource Program. It was held on the 24th of May 2012 at the State Hockey & Netball Centre in Parkville.

Workshop Sessions
At each Regional Forum we have 3 or 4 presenters. The presenter's session is usually followed by a Workshop Session which is an opportunity for participants to discuss and debate ideas and issues. The Workshop sessions are guided by a set of questions that are open ended and designed to encourage and trigger discussion.

July 2014 -Family Violence & Homelessness Forum
The second Western Region forum was held in Sunshine on 30th July, 2014. This forum focused on Family Violence and Homelessness, to give workers from the homelessness sector a better understanding of the issues, services and programs available to support people experiencing family violence.
