WISHIN is a specialist holistic, gender specific, community based organisation for women with or without children. It provides intensive home-based outreach support, case management and assistance with accessing housing and support for women and their children in the northern metropolitan suburbs.

WISHIN also provide a safe space for women who have been impacted by trauma, have a range of health-related needs and who are often socially isolated and disengaged from most community and other services. Their clients are economically disadvantaged, socially isolated and have often had their lives impacted adversely by homelessness, family violence, mental health and other health-related issues.

(WISHIN) run a fortnightly Women’s Well Being  on a Thursday. It is not a focused therapeutic program but engages a range of local female practitioners to share their skills and experience across a range of practices and activities to benefit the development of health and wellbeing. These practices include: mindfulness, guided meditations and relaxation practices, gentle-paced yoga, chi ball, qigong, sound healing and a range of creative arts and crafts. The sessions are free and generally start at 10.30 am and finish at 2.30 pm with a shared lunch provided.
