Access to most homelessness resources in Melbourne's north and west is coordinated by access point services. Anyone seeking homelessness assistance will initially present to/call one of the access point services for an appointment/interview.

There are 5 specific Access Point Services in the North and West regions as well as 2 Statewide Access Point services for young people (Frontyard) and women (Women's Housing Ltd).

If you are experiencing homelessness or worried that you might be soon, you can call 1800 825 955 and talk to an Initial Assessment and Planning staff member about your situation.

This call is free from landlines and from most mobiles (not from some of the smaller mobile providers).

When you call this number you will be connected to the nearest Homelessness Access Point Service.
